How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

All Contracts are month-to-month.  Please provide 30 days notice before you move out.

Do I need to sign a long term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise. 

How do I make a payment?

You can pay through our online portal.  You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card/ savings/ checking account monthly.

Do I need my own lock?

Yes, you will need to provide your own lock.  We recommend using a disc lock which is considered one of the safest lock options for a self storage unit. 

Do you have climate controlled units?

No, we do not have climate controlled units.  Please avoid storing items that are sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations.

Can I access my unit 24/7?

Yes, our storage units offer 24/7 access, allowing you to retrieve or store items at your convenience. 

How do I know what size storage unit I need?

Our storage units come in various sizes to accommodate different needs. As a general guide:

  • 5x10: Perfect for small furniture, boxes, and seasonal items
  • 10x10: Ideal for contents of a one-bedroom apartment
  • 10x15: Can fit items from a two-bedroom apartment
  • 10x20: Suitable for a three-bedroom house or vehicle storage

Do I need insurance for my stored items?

While we maintain a secure facility, we recommend having insurance coverage for your stored belongings. Check with your homeowner's or renter's insurance provider, as your policy may already cover items in storage.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Rent is due on the first of each month. Late fees may apply after the grace period. Contact us immediately if you anticipate payment difficulties.

What items are prohibited in storage units?

Prohibited items include:

  • Flammable or explosive materials
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Perishable items
  • Living things (plants or animals)
  • Illegal items 
  • When in doubt, please ask our staff.

How do you handle pest control?

We maintain regular pest control measures throughout the facility. We recommend using plastic containers and keeping items elevated off the floor.

Are units waterproof?

Our units are designed to resist normal weather conditions. We recommend using pallets or shelving to keep items off the floor and covering items with tarps for additional protection.

Can I switch to a different unit size?

Yes, you can transfer to a different size unit based on availability. Contact our office to discuss unit transfers.

How do I report maintenance issues or concerns?

Contact our office immediately if you notice any maintenance issues so we can address them quickly.
